Cranky Rock Cottage gets its name from a 25 tonne rock which graces our open fireplace. Built pioneer style with rustic Australian hardwood, a couples only retreat. Amazing views from the sun drenched deck with lovely natives that bring the wildlife. Please note this cottage is not suitable for children. 

Set at the base of the mountains on a beautiful valley floor, located in wine country in the lower Hunter Valley, Cranky Rock gets its name from a 25 tonne sandstone rock that graces our home. Situated 2 hrs Sydney, 1 hr Newcastle. 

Awaken to the natural bush sounds of lyre birds. There's a creek to cool your heels and walking tracks around our 120 acres of natural bush land. A working farm, dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
